The Challenge

A fantastic ‘South West’ summer challenge, taking in the first Minehead section of the famous 630-mile Coastal Path, and a basecamp in the shadows of the impressive Dunster Castle. The 50km loop then heads over Exmoor with ups & downs and some magnificent views with over 1600 metres of climb. You can take it on at your paceas a walk, jog, or run – and fundraise for your favourite charity! Sign up as an individual or as a team; you’ll get full support all the way, plenty of food & drink, optional camping & transfers, a special medal, T shirt and celebration finish. With 25km & 10km options also available – there’s a challenge for everyone! Push yourself further in 2026, take on an Ultra Challenge – the UK’s No.1 Series of treks & trail challenges.

• Full Challenge (50km) - Dunster loop
• 1st Half (25km) - Dunster to Porlock
• 2nd Half (25km) - Porlock to Dunster
• 25km Dunster loop 
   

Fundraising

You only need to raise half of the fundraising target 3 weeks ahead of the South West Coast 50 Challenge to confirm your place - you can then top up the rest during, and after, the challenge!

Charity sponsorship - pay a small registration fee and do lots of fundraising!
Remember you only need to raise half of the fundraising target to confirm your place.

50km Challenge - £40 registration fee + £375 in fundraising

25km Challenge - £30 registration fee + £275 in fundraising

10km Challenge - £20 registration fee + £100 in fundraising

Mixed Funding - pay a higher contribution to the cost of your place and fundraise less. 

50km Challenge - £75 registration fee + £225 in fundraising

25km Challenge - £50 registration fee + £150 in fundraising

10km Challenge - £22.50 registration fee + £70 in fundraising
