Volunteering in an administrative role is a great way to gain new skills or use your experience to help us fight dementia. You’ll learn more about our work and join a dedicated team who will ensure you get the most out of your role.

You’ll provide valuable support to staff involved with the delivery of services and other essential activities.

Your volunteering projects will depend on the team you are placed with. The best way to find out what your volunteering could involve is to see what roles are listed in your local area.

Tasks and responsibilities will vary from administration and data related tasks to project support, volunteer recruitment or assisting with specific team’s activities. You could be sending and receiving emails, engaging with stakeholders, researching information and updating databases.

Roles are flexible, but we do hope you’ll be able to offer a few hours each week or every fortnight and provide some continuity over several months.

If you have some experience in administration, good IT skills especially Microsoft® Office applications - and have good verbal communication skills over the phone and face-to-face, then this role could be for you!

We provide relevant training to support you in your volunteering activities.

If you would like to know more about this or other volunteer roles, please contact the Volunteering Recruitment Team on 0300 222 5706 or email us at [email protected]
