The Challenge

An end of season Ultra Challengein the ‘Garden of England’. A basecamp near Maidstone, join up to 2,000 adventurers and you can take it on at your paceas a walk, jog, or run – and fundraise for your favourite charity! The 50km looped route heads anticlockwise on the North Downs Way to Blue Bell Hill, following the River Medway to Mote Park at halfway for a picnic. Along the Len Valley Walk to the majestic Leeds Castle, and the North Downs Way back to the showground finish line. Sign up as an individual or as a team; you’ll get full support all the way, plenty of food & drink, optional camping & transfers, a special medal, T shirt and celebration finish. With 25km & 10km options also available – there’s a challenge for everyone! Push yourself further in 2026, take on an Ultra Challenge – the UK’s No.1 Series of treks & trail challenges!  

Fundraising

You only need to raise half of the fundraising target 3 weeks ahead of the Kent Downs 50 Challenge to confirm your place - you can then top up the rest during, and after, the challenge!

Charity sponsorship - pay a small registration fee and do lots of fundraising!
Remember you only need to raise half of the fundraising target to confirm your place.

50km Challenge - £40 registration fee + £360 in fundraising

25km Challenge - £30 registration fee + £240 in fundraising

10km Challenge - £20 registration fee + £100 in fundraising

Mixed Funding - pay a higher contribution to the cost of your place and fundraise less. 

50km Challenge - £75 registration fee + £225 in fundraising

25km Challenge - £50 registration fee + £150 in fundraising

10km Challenge - £22.50 registration fee + £70 in fundraising
